In the January 2006 issue of Nutrition: The International Journal of Applied and Basic Nutritional Sciences [2006; 22:23-29], an error was introduced in the “Objectives” section of the abstract during the editing of the galley proofs. The second sentence in the “Objectives” section on page 23 should reads as follows:
“Decreases in serum high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) concentration and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) particle size, accompanied by hypertriglyceridemia, are associated with the onset of atherosclerosis.”
